Pics Tawny Kitaen Feet and Legs Julie Ellen "Tawny" Kitaen (August 5 1961 - May 7, 2021) was an American actress, model, and media personality. She began her career as an actor on television, appearing in the television movies Malibu (1983), California Girls (1985). Also, she starred in Gwendoline in the comedienne film the Land of the Yik-Yak (both 1984) and Bachelor Party (1985). Kitaen was widely recognized for her work in numerous rock music videos, including Ratt's (1984) "Back for More" Whitesnake's ("Still of the Night") and Whitesnake's ("Is This Love") (all 1987). In the early 2000s, Kitaen was first seen on reality television shows, including Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) that highlighted Kitaen's battle with substance abuse. Julie Kitaen was born in San Diego, California, in the year 1961. She is the oldest of three children to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) who was a domestic worker and a beauty contestant once as well as Terry Kitaen. Kitaen works in a neon sign business. Kitaen's mother was of Irish as well as Scottish descent, was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign manufacturer). Her father was Russian-Jewish. Kitaen was raised Jewish. In the year of 12 years old, she began to adopt the name "Tawny", which she invented on her own initiative. [6] As a child she was diagnosed with dyslexia. This led her dropping out of Mission Bay High School. 7 years old, she was at the age of 14, having backstage access after the Peter Frampton concert at Balboa Stadium,[8] she witnessed the privileges offered to Frampton's girlfriend Penny and wanted to be a part of it for herself.
