Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer well-known for her roles in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum, a Malayalam film made her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is born to a Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney in the Madras High Court. Also, she has a younger sister, who works as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai. He went to National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn the piano classically in her 8th year. In her twenties, she became in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. The actress was also a stage student at her school and was a part of several stage plays organised by The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was the President of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started the acting profession as a child actress as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the Leo Coffee commercial included Shiva. She also acted in a television show that aired on Podhigai. She has performed throughout India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). After she rendered a song on Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya the director asked her to join in the role of a lead female character in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the homemaker who's husband is involved in an extramarital affair. Andrea was chosen to play the character following the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were offered the role. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. Mankatha was released on August 11, 2011.
