Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, when they relocated to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy admitted that the move had been traumatic and she refused to learn English because she hoped to come back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. After she turned 16, she quit school to take on a full-time job in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dreams came true when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
